Terms of Service

Template for review. This is plain-language starter text for a small California online shop, not legal advice. Have it reviewed before launch and update it once the store platform, email service and analytics are chosen. Last updated: [date of launch].

These terms apply when you use this website or buy from Why It Fits, a small shop based in Chico, California. By placing an order, you agree to them.

Products

Our shirts are printed on demand after you order. We show product photos and mockups as accurately as we can, but colors and print placement can vary slightly from your screen and from shirt to shirt.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and shown on each product page. Sales tax is added at checkout where required. We can correct pricing errors and may cancel an order affected by one; if we do, you'll get a full refund.

Orders, shipping and cancellations

We ship to US addresses. Shipping costs are calculated and shown at checkout. Shipping times are estimates, not guarantees. Orders can be canceled only before they go into production. See Shipping & Returns.

Returns and reprints

Because every item is made to order, we don't accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or wrong size. If your item arrives misprinted, damaged or defective, email a photo to [email protected] within 30 days of delivery and we'll reprint it free. This doesn't limit any rights you have under California or federal law.

Our designs

All designs, text, logos and images on this site belong to Why It Fits. Buying a shirt lets you wear it, gift it and show it off; it doesn't give you the right to copy or resell the design.

Using the site

Please don't misuse the site, try to break it, scrape it in bulk or use it for anything unlawful.

Disclaimers and limits

The site and products are provided “as is” to the extent the law allows. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to what you paid for that order, except where the law doesn't allow that limit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version posted when you place an order applies to that order.
